Laundry liquid is calibrated for use in HOT or COLD water for maximum efficiency and optimal fabric brightness. For top-load washers, 1/3 cup is recommended for light to medium soil, and 2/3 cup for heavy soiling. Front-load washers should use 1/4 cup for light to medium soil and 1/2 cup for heavy soiling.
